ComPDF products are now available on the iPaaS platform, Make. You can easily connect all ComPDF products with any apps for processing PDFs, like automatically merging product materials, consumption, production data, and other files on Google Drive to generate a comprehensive product report.

Step 1: Requirements before Using ComPDFKit PDF Editor on iPaaS Make
Before using the ComPDFKit PDF Editor on the Make platform, the following requirements are needed. You can also go here for the detailed guides for the following account creating and product installing.

Make sure you have a Make account.

ComPDFKit PDF Editor Free License. Once you register a ComPDF account, a free license will be generated automatically. You can click on Create New Project to get more free licenses.

Note: ComPDF users can access all features, with up to 1,000 free document conversions per month.
Step 2: Start a Make Scenario and Create Tasks
Click on Create a new scenario.

Search and click on ComPDFKit PDF Editor.

Scroll all actions to choose Merge PDF Files - CreateTask.

Then, click on Create a Connection. The following pop-up windows will appear. You need to apply the license of ComPDF here.
Step 3: Apply License of ComPDFKit PDF Editor on Make
On the API Keys section of the ComPDF dashboard, click the Public Key and Secret Key to copy the license. Then, paste them in the previous Create a Connection dialog.
Step 4: Add Google Drive to Download PDF Files

Right-click on the Merge PDF Files - Create a Task of ComPDFKit PDF Editor and choose Add a module. A new module will be added on the left of the Merge PDF Files - Create a Task.

Search and click on Google Drive.

Choose Download a File. Follow the instructions on Make.com to create a connection with your Google Drive.

Right-click on Google Drive to download another file to merge with the first file you downloaded.
Note: There may be something wrong when you try to connect your personal Google Drive. Try to connect a company Google Drive account.
Step 5: Upload PDF Files to Merge PDFs on Make
Click the + icon beside the Merge PDF Files - Create a Task to add the next 2 modules to upload the files we have downloaded from Google Drive.
Set the two FileUpload modules of the ComPDFKit PDF Editor like the picture shown below.
Step 6: Start the Task to Merge PDF Files without Code

Click + again and choose ComPDFKit PDF Editor > Start a Task.

Click + to search and add Flow Control > Repeater to repeat the next process (Get the File Information from ComPDFKit PDF Editor). Then, set it as shown below:
Step 7: Get the Result File Information
Add Get the File Information of ComPDFKit PDF Editor and configure it.

Click + to search and add a Router to check if the link of the merged PDF file is generated.

Add the routes Tools Sleep and HTTP Get a file:

Click the following icon to set the filter between the Tools Sleep and the Router: If the URL of the merged result file doesn’t exist, it will wait a few seconds and repeat retrieving the file information.

Click the following icon to set the filter between the HTTP Get a file and the Router: If the URL of the merged result file exists, a merged file will be returned.

Step 8: Save the Result File to Google Drive
Choose a drive to store the resulting files: For example, select Google Drive to store the merged file.
Step 9: End the PDF Merging Workflow on Make
Add another module and choose JSON -> Parse JSON. Click on Create a data structure and set as below.
Right-click on JSON and choose Add error handler. Then, choose Commit to end the workflow.
