Benefits
There are multiple advantages of ComPDFKit Conversion SDK that can be the reasons for you to choose us. ComPDFKit Conversion SDK supports multiple platforms and languages, making it easy and fast to integrate.
ComPDFKit Conversion SDK uses native conversion without any server-side dependencies like Microsoft Office or LibreOffice, which ensures that private information is not leaked and increases security.
ComPDFKit Conversion SDK provides PDF parsing for document conversion, enabling data preprocessing while preserving PDF properties.
In addition, ComPDFKit Conversion SDK offers the ability to analyze the logical structure of a PDF document and identify related structural elements including headers, footers, paragraphs, tables, and pictures, thereby accurately recreating the original document.
ComPDFKit Conversion SDK can also correctly recognize complex and irregular tables, and preserve the original structure and style when converting.
Future Plans
We have planned some improvements to the ComPDFKit Conversion SDK that will be implemented in the near future.
First, more formats will be supported, like RTF, HTML, ePub, and pages.
Second, intelligent recognition. The content of intelligent identification will include logical structure of chapter catalog, spreadsheet, half-border table, and borderless table.
Third, OCR. You will be able to perform OCR to recognize scanned documents, characters with missing font information, and tables.
Last, data extraction. Data extraction is divided into two parts: table data extraction and full-page data extraction. With the former, table data can be exported to not only multiple formats such as XLSX, but also structured data like JSON and XML, which is convenient for the rapid integration of the system background. With the latter, all data will be rearranged to generate RTF that can be displayed and the font size will be adjusted.
Conclusion
It is a new chapter for ComPDFKit Conversion SDK, and we will continue expanding the range of features to improve our product in future iterations. Please stay tuned for our blogs and changelogs for future releases.
